Vince has over 17 years’ experience in cyber security and information protection in both the public and private sectors, and has been granted the UK’s highest level of Security Clearance. He helped to build the Cyber Resilience Tool used by the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority, allowing the regulator to measure the cyber resilience capabilities of companies in the financial sector.
He is also a member of the UK’s Information Assurance Advisory Council (IAAC) whose mission is to advance Information Assurance and ensure that the UK is a robust, resilient and secure digital society. It is involved with developing policy recommendations to government and corporate leaders at the highest levels.
He is frequently asked to speak at conferences, both in the UK and internationally, and is often called upon by the media to provide information and coverage on cyber security issues.
Our Non-Executive Director for Investigations is a former Officer for the UK’s Security Service (MI5), where they spent many years working within the operational branch investigating a variety of subjects of interest, from foreign spies to terrorist suspects.
They provide us with expert insight into the motivations and techniques used by cyber criminals, hackers, and those involved in corporate espionage so we can better provide our clients with actionable intelligence and give deep insight into our investigations.
David is a graduate from Jesus College, Cambridge and has spent nearly 20 years’ working in public policy.
He has a solid track record working with governments and parastatal bodies at UK, European and at global levels. David carries out policy analysis and implementation and provides viable, cost-effective policy recommendations for a wide range of bodies.
David is based in the UK and Portugal, and in 2016 he became a Knowledge Exchange Fellow within the Law Faculty at Oxford University.
Rachel is a highly experienced transformation leader in technology-led business change, information security and commercial counter-fraud operations.
She is an accomplished Commercial and Programme Director with extensive public and private sector experience, including at board level. Rachel delivers counter-fraud, information security, ISO27001 assurance and digital identity expertise for Protective Intelligence. She is a qualified Chartered Marketer, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply and is also a holder of a Certificate in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors.
Our Head of Investigations previously worked in intelligence gathering for a government agency, engaged on projects to intercept digital intelligence and develop investigations into subjects of interest.
They are highly experienced in interpreting digital intelligence, as well as computer forensics, and have worked on projects to uncover the identities of those who use the Dark Web for illegal purposes and bring them to justice.
German graduated from City University in London with a Master’s Degree in Project Management in 2010, after previously studying in his native Colombia.
He has worked in a variety of sectors, both in Europe and Latin America, including transport, renewables, real estate and start-ups, where he brings his skills as a Project Director to ensure success for his clients.
German travels between South America and Europe frequently, and has developed a wide professional network on both continents. He heads up our LatAm business, helping governments and the private sector in the region to improve their cyber resilience capabilities.
